HLG, LLC d/b/a Subscription Lawyer, is looking for a junior associate who is interested in a career of litigation in immigration, criminal, and civil law. This position is ideal for a candidate who is serious about making a legal career for themselves, and who is at the start of their career. Although grades will be considered in the hiring decision, the most important attributes for this position are a strong work ethic, a desire to succeed professionally, and a willingness to be trained professionally. Associate attorney will work under the supervision of a supervising attorney, and in collaboration with legal admin and staff, to represent clients in proceedings before EOIR, USCIS, Illinois' state criminal courts, and Illinois' state civil courts. Requirements

Must be a new or recent graduate of a fully accredited law school. Must be licensed and in good standing with Illinois ARDC. Some court room experience would be helpful, especially criminal or immigration work experience. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is helpful, but not required. Associate will:

Represent clients before Judges;

Draft and file pleadings;

Direct legal staff to accomplish legal tasks;

Communicate with clients on behalf of the law firm.

This will be a W-2 position, with eligibility for medical and dental insurance at enrollment.
